Mark Wahlberg Breaks His Silence About His Ridiculous Workout Schedule That Went Viral

On today's Pardon My Take... MARK WAHLBERG! The big time actor joined Mr. Cat and Mr. Commenter on today's show to discuss his new Netflix movie with Kevin Hart, "Me Time," his relationship with Jimmy Butler, an outlook on the New England Patriots this season, and much more.

If you're active on social media, you have probably seen Mark Wahlberg's daily schedule once or twice before. It looks like this...

This graphic made the rounds throughout various social platforms, but Wahlberg actually told Mr. Cat and Mr. Commenter on today's show that the above schedule wasn't a longterm plan for him. We got some more info on this on today's show...

Mr. Cat: Non-movie question, are you surprised how often your workout schedule goes viral? Because it goes viral like, I don't know, once every like two months, the "Mark Wahlberg gets up, golfs…"

Mark Wahlberg: Yeah.

Mr. Cat: Like, when you wake up and your name is trending, you're like, "What the hell is going on? Did I die? Oh no, it's my workout schedule again."

Mark Wahlberg: Yeah. You know, I actually I have an apparel brand called Municipal and they made some samples of shoes for me, these different shoe designers in Italy. And in one pair of the shoes it has my whole schedule on the on the, on the insole.

Mr. Commenter: Yeah. I've got it right here. It says that you wake up every day at 2:30 a.m.. Is that… I mean, there's no way, right?

Mark Wahlberg: That was, if I go to be tonight at 6:30, I'll wake up at 2:30. I get eight hours of sleep, always. But that was when I was doing something very specific, the way I was training. And, you know, I realized that, you know, all that stuff was not good.

Mr. Commenter: 2:45 am prayer time and prayer time lasts until 3:15. Is that constant prayer?

Mark Wahlberg:

It's 15-20 minutes depending and I do a little bit of reading for that day. There's always, like, a daily devotional.

So this viral schedule may have been true at one point, but it's not something that Mark Wahlberg did or continues to do every day. Either way, it is a very unique setup. I am very excited for his new Netflix movie, "Me Time," which premieres today! Watch the trailer below.
