Gametime Got Invited To A Hands On Reveal For PGA 2K23 With Shooter McGavin And This Game Is Fucking Awesome
Before the TOUR Championship started at East Lake Golf Club, Gametime got invited down to get a hands-on reveal for the upcoming PGA 2K23. To put it simply, the game lives up to the hype! Below is a short form video about the day and info about 2K23:
I can't wait for this game to drop on October 14th! The game is gonna release with 14 male and female pros, with more being added in as the game progress. Some of the big names are Justin Thomas, Lexi Thompson, Tony Finau, Lydia Ko, Collin Morikawa, Will Zalatoris, Brooke Henderson and more. Michael Jordan is a playable character, so I can't wait to see what other characters 2K has hiding up their sleeve.
The game will launch with 20 licensed courses, the newest additions being South Course of Wilmington Country Club, The Renaissance Club, St. George’s Golf and Country Club.
When we first got to East Lake, Collin Morikawa was testing the game out himself.
He's a big gamer, loves Warzone and PGA - so I had to get his thoughts on an extremely important question:
He wasn't the only golf stud in the building. There was another pro who FINALLY seems like he got his jacket after all these years:
Both Chris McDonald and Collin are genuinely two of the coolest dudes I've ever met. Really down to Earth guys that are very relatable regardless of their fame. Getting the chance to talk to them was both was a fucking sick experience.
So PGA 2K23 is dropping October 14th with early access beginning on the 11th. The Barstool Golf Society is one of the biggest societies in the game, so I can't wait to work with the Foreplay guys to bring you weekly tournaments and more throughout the game.
If there's any PGA 2K23 content you guys wanna see, let me know!
