Tyler Herro Basically Lived Out The 'Fuck Them Kids' Meme After Snapping Some Kid's Ankles With A Crossover During Camp
I don't blame Tyler Herro for this one iota. That's right - one iota. You want to try and D up a guy at any age, you better be prepared to be put on skates. It's a good lesson too. Too often kids are told they can do whatever they want. No you can't. I say that as a father of two, so I'm experienced in saying no. You can't defend Tyler Herro. You can't say you're going to play in the NBA, statistics back me up on this one.
And think if it goes the other way. Tyler Herro would be mocked and probably taken out of any trade offer the Heat have if a kid beats him and starts to go viral. Can't risk it. No matter if it's staged or not. People run with things on Twitter. We never exaggerate things here on the blog, but on twitter? Sure. People do that all the time. We're respected bloggers who refuse to use hyperbole.
This kid will learn though. I don't want to get too technical and break down stance, but it's a pretty bad defensive stance. Even at that age. Get your ass low, get on your toes. Gotta shuffle and be quick with your feet. Also don't reach. Kid needs to have quicker hands if he's going full arm reach. Fundamentals kid, learn them. You won't end up going viral for being sent to the ground.
PS: Herro not stopping and going in for a dunk a solid 5 seconds later really makes the video for me. 2 points, check ball.
