Tom Brady Returns To Buccaneers Today But One Real Concern Exists
An all-time conspiracy theory about Tom Brady missing time during the pre-season made a ton of headlines over the past few days. He's been gone for a week and a half for unnamed reasons, but The Masked Singer?? I'm not Network TV Producer nor a fan of the Masked Singer, so I don't really get how the process works, but I would be shocked if the taping of one took over a week. The real answer is we do not know why Tom is away from the team and to be honest, it's not very important.
The Buccaneers had a pre-season game vs. the Titans on Saturday night and Bruce Arians joined a booth re-iterating that he's not worried that Tom Brady will miss any regular season action.
Bucs HC Todd Bowles confirmed that with the media on Sunday stating that Brady will re-join the team early this week.
In fact, reports surfaced this morning that the GOAT will be back today.
And while Brady's absence hasn't been a real concern for anybody in the know, a major issue is the Offensive Line which is piling up injuries. Starting Center Ryan Jensen is likely to miss most of, if not the entire season. Now one of the candidates for the starting Left Guard spot (which opened up following Pro Bowler Ali Marpet's retirement), Aaron Stinnie, is now out for the year following an injury on Saturday night.
But the Bucs did get one good bit of news with Superstar Right Tackle Tristan Wirfs' oblique injury he sustained during practice this week being ruled a day-to-day injury.
So Tom Brady missing practice isn't the issue, the real concern is who will be blocking for him.
