Every Doctor In The World Is Calling BS On Fernando Tatis Jr's Excuse And Reasoning For Using Clostebol

As you heard, Fernando Tatis Jr. tested positive for a performance-enhancing drug and is out 80 games. HUGE blow to the Padres who were about to get their superstar back. Immediately after the news came out we got the same BS excuse and apology from Tatis Jr. who said he was taking Clostebol to treat ringworm. There's only one problem. According to Rany Jazayerli, a Chicago dermatologist, you don't use Clostebol to treat ringworm. He said they would prescribe Clobetasol in other cases but that is a drug that would make ringworm worse...so you would never use it to treat ringworm. It's a completely different drug, not a great excuse from FTJ if that is what he is sticking to. Jazayerli basically came out saying this excuse is BS because it is. If you're taking clobetasol, which is a topical steroid, you wouldn't have an anabolic steroid like clostebol show up in your drug test. It's simple. It almost sounds like someone in Tatis Jr's camp googled "clostebol" and google said "do you mean clobetasol instead" and they just ran with it. Not great!

Dr. Jerry Hizon told Sports Injury Central, “Standard ringworm treatments can involve steroids but those are anti-inflammatory, not anabolic steroids". Again, every Dr online is calling BS on this, Tatis is lying through his teeth. Ringworm is often treated with a topical treatment, not an anabolic steroid that are usually injected. Obviously there is a chance he took it on accident, but who knows. It does appear that he did have ringworm at one point, his mom posted it on her Instagram and you can even see medicine in the back. But again, who knows the truth here, all I'm saying is every one smells BS.

I don't think anyone believes his excuse, you already know his teammates and own GM don't, Hubbs covered that well here. If you're the Padres, a teammate, or a fan I don't think you can believe anything he says. He lied and tried to cover up his motorcycle accident that has kept him out this long, why would we believe anything else he says. AJ Preller's comments were something. You rarely see a GM come out and speak about a player like that, especially one that they just invested a ton of money into. This is going to be a very sticky situation between the Padres and Tatis Jr.
