The fate of Warner Bros.’ The Flash hangs in the balance as actor Ezra Miller continues to make headlines for their controversial behavior and various arrests. An outright shelving of the film is not off the table, though it would be a last resort.

Warners — and its new parent company, Warner Bros. Discovery — had hoped to avoid the line of fire, because its big-budget DC superhero tentpole isn’t scheduled to hit theaters until June 23, 2023. But the pressure is mounting by the day.

The curious, disturbing saga of actor Ezra Miller has only gotten worse. I've blogged about this maniac probably too much to this point, but it continues to be insane to me that this lunatic is still allowed out in society.

As a quick recap for those not aware, Miller first set sights on terrorizing the state of Hawaii. The actor had the cops called on them 10 times in just one month which included a couple accusing Miller of breaking into their bedroom, robbing them, and threatening to bury the man and his "slut wife." Certainly alarming. Miller was also arrested for 2nd degree assault after refusing to leave a friend's home late at night and thus throwing a chair at a woman, striking her in the face. The actor also lunged at a man playing darts and grabbed the mic from a woman at a karaoke bar before screaming at her because she was singing Shallow which upset Miller. Finally the actor left the island to the relief of every local citizen. The bad news didn't stop there however, with an 18 year old's family coming forward to accuse Ezra of grooming their child using violence, intimidation, fear, paranoia, delusions, and drugs. What the actual fuck.

So now what's going on? Well in an effort to fill up their bingo board of crime Ezra Miller was charged with felony burglary the other day. Vermont's child services department is also apparently trying to locate a mother and her three children who had been residing on Miller's farm in the state. I'm terrified to find out what's going on there.

Ezra Miller is real life Homelander and no one does a thing about it. For whatever reason no police department or court system can find a way to put this psychopath permanently behind bars. What the fuck are we doing here? What does Ezra Miller have to do to be stopped? Public murder? Do we need to see this maniac kill someone in public before taking legit action?

Well, Warner Bros. is now on the clock with Miller's The Flash due out next summer. It's all finished and shot while seemingly testing well in front of select audiences who have seem the film. So…what do they do? Well, they're reportedly discussing three options.

Alright let's break these down rationally…

I think the worst idea ever from the studio's perspective, would be to put this loser in front of a camera in an attempt to convince the world they're sorry, or even worse make an excuse for these series of events. That'd be a comically bad decision. Just look how Amber Heard's post trial interview went. Not great! It only dug her ditch even further in the ground. I don't see any scenario where Ezra Miller does an interview and people come out of it sympathetic or pleased. Zero chance actually. That being said, hearing Miller explain and/or rationalize the kidnappings would be WILD television.

What I expect to happen is Miller does absolutely zero press for the movie and it goes on as planned. It's a terrible look considering they just cancelled the $90 million Batgirl movie for tax write off purposes, at the end of the day it's a $200 million movie that is testing well and is paramount to the new plan of future DC movies. I imagine Warner Bros. is going to do whatever they can before scrapping it, which may include abducting Miller and isolating the actor from the rest of the world so there can't be any more incidents. You've got Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck playing their respective Batmans, that's not getting canned. Money aside, should it happen based on everything that's taken place with Miller? Of course not, but money is in play and a whole lot of it. Making some cash here is better than no money in the studio's eyes despite the backlash. You'll see Miller in this movie and never ever see the actor on the big screen again.

What needs to happen is for a court to take this wanna-be Homelander seriously and lock them up for good. Stop Ezra Miller before this somehow gets even worse. Maybe send out a feeler to Russia and see if they wanna include the actor in the Griner swap.
