Ozzy Osbourne Showed Up In His Hometown And Brought The House Down With A Surprise Performance To Close The Commonwealth Games
Well this is awesome. I didn't think Michelle Jenneke would get overshadowed at The Commonwealth Games, but here we are. I also didn't think I'd have multiple blogs about The Commonwealth Games, but here we are. When Ozzy Osbourne and Tony Iommi show up for a surprise performance, that becomes the story.
Ozzy recently had 'life-altering' surgery on his neck and back. He hasn't done a full concert since 2018. The last time he was on stage was 2019:
Osbourne’s last time onstage was with Post Malone for a performance of their duet, “Take What You Want” at the 2019 American Music awards. His last full concert was a headlining Ozzfest gig on New Year’s Eve 2018.
So now he shows up in his hometown to do a surprise performance? That's awesome. That's how you close out an event. Even better is the fact the news couldn't start on time.
Remember Ozzy was diagnosed with Parkinson's back in 2020:
What a life man. From music to bats to the 7th Inning Stretch to a TV show. Only Ozzy man.
Oh and some obligatory Michelle Jenneke
