Umpire Ed Hickox Belongs in Prison For The Performance He Put On Behind The Plate Yesterday

You may be clicking on this blog expecting me to whine about how the Yankees were robbed of a win yesterday because of the umps. Not gonna happen. The Yankees deserved to lose yesterday no two ways about it with their lackluster pitching unable to provide the team with any semblance of stability. What I will do however is ask for the immediate imprisonment of umpire Ed Hickox.

If you watched the game yesterday in St. Louis you know how bad Hickox was behind the plate. It was comical how many calls he was missing in big spots. I was salivating waiting for the umpire scorecard to get tweeted out today and it didn't disappoint.

I have a lot of questions, number one how dare you? +3.01 runs to the Cardinals holy fucking shit! I know he was bad, but my god I don't know if I've ever seen one like that. If you scroll through that Twitter account at most you're going to see about one run to either side. Rarely you're going to see two runs in favor of a team, but three? Unheard of. Boone wasn't having any of it and eventually got tossed.

Look at some of these calls.

I'm writing this blog under the impression that robots created Ed Hickox or at least were able to hack into his brain so that he could further push the narrative that an electronic strike zone needs to be installed into the game. If not for instant replay this Cardinals runner would be called out at home in a play where he obviously safe.

Guy is a joke. The fact that Major League Baseball refuses to hold these assholes accountable is embarrassing. I'll have no sympathy when they're moved on from in favor of robots.
