Surviving Barstool Season 2 Is Underway With A Chaotic Cast Of Characters

Surviving Barstool Season 2 began filming at the office yesterday. It'll be filmed through Friday and then air from Sunday August 28th to Thursday September 1st. It's our third and final reality show of the summer along with Barstool vs. America and Barstool's Most Dangerous Gameshow. And boy oh boy do we have quite a cast.

Now before we go any further, you may be wondering, "Tommy where are you? You won Season 1 and are the #1 Survivor fan in the world? Aren't you going to defend your crown?" Well you must have missed the memo that I retired and rode off into the sunset after my Most Dangerous Gameshow victory.

I do feel pretty confident I probably could've run circles around this cast with my eyes closed, but I'll give someone else a chance to win. I can write off that $10,000 as a charitable donation since I'm letting someone else win it. I'll instead be standing on the sidelines, helping out with the behind the scenes stuff and watching closely to see who joins me in the pantheon of champions.

I will be posting a full blog handicapping the field sometime before the season airs. I don't want to list someone as the likely winner of this show and put a huge target on their back while it's still filming. I'm all about game integrity and that wouldn't be fair. This will just be an introduction to this wild cast of characters

Rudy

His debut to the Barstool Reality Universe. Stool Scenes producer. Dresses really cool. Hot.

Steven Cheah

If you watch The Bracket, you know that Steven Cheah is a god damn content machine. You never know what's about to come out of his mouth next. This is a man who once wrote a letter to Tinder because he assumed the app was broken when a girl didn't respond to him. Curious to see if that delusional of self confidence will help or hurt him here.

Jackie

Jackie is a producer for KFC Radio and by all accounts is an absolute wild card capable of anything. I also think she likes to fuck beans or something like that?

O'Malley

Her co-host Brianna finished 3rd in Season 1 and casted the winning vote for me (thanks Brianna). Could that success rub off on her BFF? I do know that Grace appears to be drunk quite often so we'll see how that impacts her decision making during the game.

Caroline

New kid on the block. She's fresh off a competition win with Barstool Idol and is looking to make it two in a row. I think I have to root against her because I can't have anyone else around these parts threatening my dynasty (although she'd still have a looong way to go. I have won a LOT of things).

Eddie

Eddie has been around Barstool forever but this is his first time entering any of our reality shows. Curious to see how he'll fare in a contest that he can't just rig and make himself win #RedEd

Kim

Every Survivor season needs a mom character. It's one of the most classic archetypes from the show. We've seen Tina win. We've seen many go out early. We've seen many get dragged to the end as goats. I am hoping Kim breaks the mold and comes out with a Boston Rob level of ruthlessness.

Tiko Texas

The biggest wild card in a group full of wild cards. Looks like from the video above that she was late to start the game. But I'll spin that and say that the game just started too early. The game starts when Tiko wants it to start. This is her much anticipated debut to the Barstool Reality Universe and I cannot wait to see what it brings. As her shirt says, you do not mess with Tiko Texas.

And that's all eight. What a crew. It gives me major Survivor: Gabon vibes and I mean that in the best way possible. It's one of my favorite seasons because of how chaotic and funny it was, and I hope this is similar. Excited to see how it turns out.

A number of contestants have come up to me and asked for advice, and I just don't know what to tell them. Michael Jordan can't just teach people the clutch gene. Usain Bolt can't teach people his speed. Jesus can't teach how to turn water into wine. Same thing for me. Just gifts from God. But I wish them luck.
