"One Of The Most Chicken-Shit Things I've Ever Seen On A Baseball Field." - We Got An A+ Blow Up By Rocco Baldelli After The Umps Overturned A Call In Extra Innings

"One of the worst moments I think we've seen of umpiring in any game I've ever been a part of in baseball". That is what Rocco Baldelli said about the call above. A call that ended up giving the Blue Jays the eventual winning run in extra innings. 

Umpires called Whit Merrifield was originally out on the field and the Jays went and asked for a review. They wanted the umpires to look at see if Gary Sanchez was blocking the plate and turns out that is exactly what New York as thinking. They reversed the call after ruling that Sanchez was blocking the path to the plate and Baldelli was about as hot as I've ever seen.

Rocco immediately hopped out and started dropping F Bombs. Not for show or to pump up his guys. He was this mad about an overturned call that gave his team an L. And it's not like he cooled off in the postgame press conference either, he let it fly.

Talk that shit Rocco because that rule sucks. I get why it's in place, but a similar play happened in the Orioles game and when a throw is coming in from left field where is the catcher supposed to go? If the throw is good and it's on line, the catcher is literally set up in the base path. Umps are starting to call that again is making managers furious. 

So Rocco answered by going on an absolute rampage. You don't see many tantrums like this anymore so I applaud Rocco for going old school and throwing everything he had at the umps. We also got some postgame quotes from him. 

Just great, great stuff from Rocco here. Happy he let it boil over, took it out on them, and gave us a classic clip to kick off the week.
