Florence Pugh Is Allegedly Pissed At Olivia Wilde For Having An Affair With Harry Styles On The Set Of "Don't Worry Darling" And Doesn't Seem To Be Promoting The Movie Because Of It

In just a few weeks, Olivia Wilde and boyfriend Harry Styles will step on the red carpet at the prestigious Venice Film Festival for the world premiere of their new movie, “Don’t Worry Darling,” which she directed.

They will be joined by Styles’ co-star Florence Pugh, one of Hollywood’s brightest young things. But Hollywood is buzzing that the 26-year-old actress has fallen out with Wilde, 38, over the director hooking up with Styles.

“I can tell you for a fact that Flo seeing Olivia and Harry all over each other on set did not go down well as Olivia was still with Jason when she first hooked up with Harry,” one insider told Page Six, referring to Wilde’s ex, “Ted Lasso” star Jason Sudeikis.

The former couple — who got engaged in 2012 and share kids Otis, 8, and Daisy, 5 — announced the end of their seven-year-romance in November 2020.

At the time, sources cited Wilde’s relationship with Styles as the main reason for the split, with one insider telling Page Six that the affair with Styles, now 28, had been ongoing for a month, leaving “Saturday Night Live” vet Sudeikis distraught.

Don't Worry Darling is one of the most highly anticipated movies of the fall, and for the lead actress to be pissed at the director over the overwhelming amount of canoodling that went on during filming? BAD NEWS. I am a MAJOR, MAJOR Florence Pugh stan. I'm also a HUGE Olivia WIlde & Harry Styles fan (separately, and together) so this puts me in a tough spot. On one hand, how annoying would it be to be taking an acting job seriously and the director is playing grab ass with your costar? Very annoying. On the other, are you not going to be promoting a movie that you're the STAR OF just because you were rolling your eyes a lot over unprofessionalism on set? Not ideal. I haven't seen for myself the "lack of promotion" on Flo's part but I don't think it seems to be overwhelming? Sure we've been seeing the trailers for months, but the movie isn't even doing a proper press yet. It won't come out until the end of September. I can't imagine she would sabotage her own work over something kind of petty.

Another thing I've heard in the rumor mill...(keyword, rumor) is that Florence and Harry were hooking up before he was hooking up with Olivia, so this may be jealousy based. If my timeline is correct, Florence and Zach Braff are still together, and were still fully dating during the filming of this movie so I can't imagine that's true. But...wouldn't it be SO JUICY if it was??

Whatever the real situation is, I can't wait to see this movie. Potential for hottest cast of all time?
