Nice Try Morons. Taylor Swift Actually Loans Out Her Private Jet All The Time And Wasn't Even On The Majority Of The 170+ Trips It Took This Year, Find A New Slant

Yahoo- Taylor Swift is getting backlash from critics about her private jet's carbon footprint. The "Shake it Off" singer was accused of polluting the earth by flying in her private jet 170 times between Jan. 1 and July 29, according to Yard, a sustainability marketing agency that prides itself on "cutting-edge data and analysis."

However, a representative for the 32-year-old pop star said, "Taylor’s jet is loaned out regularly to other individuals. To attribute most or all of these trips to her is blatantly incorrect," according to TMZ. The research gathered by Yard shows results for "which celebrities are the worst private jet CO2 emission offenders," with Swift racking up more than 22,000 minutes in the air, or the equivalent of 16 days.

Give me a fucking break. I was already so sick of people getting mad at celebs for using private planes, but this? This has gone too far. Just because someone is rich enough to have a jet doesn't mean they are the ones using it 24/7. Taylor, out of the kindness of her heart, frequently loans out her jet to her much, much poorer friends in times of need.

I know people are on Kylie's dick about this, and a whole list of celebs has come out concerning "the amount of carbon emissions" they're all putting out by traveling. Why do we care about this?

"But Kelly, Global Warming! Haven't you felt the heat wave all over the country?"

I think we're losing sight of what "global warming" is. Is Taylor Swift responsible for global warming? Has she been slowly chipping away at the Ozone layer for the past 60 years? No. Pretty sure that's...the rest of the fucking world. Is Taylor Swift's jet, that a handful of people have used over the past 6 months, single handedly bringing us closer to the surface of the sun? No.

I know I'm generally ignorant but, one plane taking 170 trips in 6 months just doesn't seem like a big deal. 170 flights leave JFK every hour for christ's sake (unless you're flying American, all of those planes only sit on the tarmac for 12 hours at a time burning fuel and never actually take off until you've been tortured so long that you start to cry) so should we start cutting back on regular planes? Should we start policing everyone's travel?? WHAT WILL THE GOVERNMENT CONTROL NEXT??
