It Looks Like Olivia Rodrigo Is Pretty Chummy With Joshua Bassett, AKA The Guy The Sobbing Ballad "Driver's License" Is About

It looks like Olivia Rodrigo and Joshua Bassett are putting their drama behind them.

The High School Musical: The Musical: The Series costars reunited on the red carpet for the premiere of the Disney+ show's third season on Wednesday.

The two posed and smiled together with Rodrigo wearing a sultry black two-piece with chunky platform heels and sheer tights, as Bassett donned a classic satin black suit with matching fingernails.

Rodrigo and Bassett, who met on the set of the High School Musical franchise spinoff in 2019, shocked fans when they appeared to fall out last year. While they played on-screen love interests Nini and Ricky (who land the roles of Gabriella and Troy, respectively, in HSM), the musicians have never officially confirmed their romance nor split.

Hell no. I did NOT scream out my vocal cords to Driver's License for a year plus just to have these two CHILLING AND HANGING OUT ON THE RED CARPET TOGETHER??? Sure, they always knew they would have to work together again for HSMTMTS season 3, considering they are a couple on the show, but really, Olivia? Where I come from, we hold grudges. We ruin mens' lives when they hurt us. We tell all our friends we never really even liked them in the first place and the sex was bad (even if it was good.) We don't snuggle up and show UNITY on a red carpet!!! 

In reality, this has to be torture for them, right? Sure they look friendly but they're actors. It's gotta be fake. Joshua Bassett has to HIGH KEY hate Olivia for the onslaught of shame he's gotten over Driver's License. How can you come back from that and be cool with each other? Damn. It would really suck to have to work with people you've hooked up with after things go sour. I of course have no idea what that's like, but I imagine it's very very awkward.
