WATCH: Woman Gets The Shit Bit Out Of Her By A Monk Seal After Being Warned Multiple Times Not To Get In The Water

Satisfying. That's really all I have to say on this one. She got what she deserved. It's not that I wanted her to get hurt, it's just that when you get warned, multiple times, by multiple people, NOT to go in the water and you do...that's on you. There was also signage all over the place telling people to avoid that area because the seal had just given birth but that's neither here nor there. The husband claims she did nothing wrong.

Here's his statement to the media...

Source - Her husband said the couple had been visiting Hawaii from California for the past three weeks and was in the Aloha State when the pup was born.

'[We] saw the pup at Kaimana immediately after it was born,' he reportedly told DLNR. 'We’ve read all the safe viewing signs and abide by them. These seals swam up behind her and she was not aware of them...I believe all of the commotion on the beach likely added to her frustration.

'There is no one to blame here. All my wife did was go swimming and she happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.'

Regardless, that had to have been terrifying. Seals are the chimps of the sea. They're highly intelligent, wildly agile, and incredibly strong. They're dexterous despite having no hands and will rip you to shreds if need be. 400 pounds of rage-filled blubber yet despite this, people think they're harmless. Maybe it's because they're always getting destroyed by sharks. I don't know. All I know is that if I see a seal I'm hightailing it out of the water. Not swimming up to it and asking for a playdate. That's it for this one. Now here's a bunch of seals getting launched in the air by Orca Whales. Enjoy...
