Ronald Acuña's Home Run Derby Pitcher Should Be in a Major League Bullpen

I've never seen anything like what I just watched during Ronald Acuña Jr.'s Home Run Derby round. Tomás Perez, Acuña's pitcher, was throwing cutters and sliders on the black. He looked better than two or three guys currently in Atlanta's bullpen.

Ronald somehow muscled out 19 homers off the second coming of Randy Johnson, but he'd have blown Pete Alonso out of the water if he had Dave Jauss grooving balls up and in. What a sham.

At a bare minimum, an independent league team with some holes in the bullpen needs to give Perez a call. The Braves may have lost their batting practice pitcher tonight.
