Finally! A Sincere And Truthful Congrats To Indiana Basketball For Its Most Notable Achievement Since 2002

[Source] -Ever wonder what Indiana men's basketball coach Mike Woodson does during the offseason? Ask him about it. He'll tell you.

He makes sure his lawn is immaculate, and he's darn proud of it.

Woodson's daughter Mariah posted a picture Monday of her dad overlooking his lawn on Instagram. 

"My dad takes his yard so seriously," she wrote. "He won yard of the month in his neighborhood and hasn't stopped showing me pictures of the yard."

I'm not trying to be sarcastic in the least bit. Indiana needed this. They needed a notable win to hold up their status of being a blue blood. They've basically been skating by thanks to the 70s and 80s. Oh and I'm aware of the hype coming into this year. Trayce Jackson-Davis coming back is important! I would even say it's good for the sport. He's good. But we  really think Indiana is jumping from a play-in team to some top-15 team? 

I don't think so. 

Spare me the talk of the 5-star guard coming in. There are still questions for roughly the 15th year in a row about consistent guard play. Still questions about if they can get shooting from someone not named Miller Kopp. But we can break down Indiana basketball roster on a different day. This is about celebrating Mike Woodson. 

I'm an old. I'm a dad. I care about my lawn. This is a damn near perfect lawn. We've dealt with a lack of rain out here in the Midwest and trying to keep that perfect green color on my new sod has been a bitch. Watering it, treating it, everything. It sure as shit doesn't look like Woodson's. I long for a perfect yard. It's all I want as a true old. So congrats to Mike Woodson for bringing Indiana relevancy for the first time since 2002. An impressive feat.
