'Thor: Love and Thunder' Features The Best Use Of Guns N' Roses In A Movie Ever

I'll admit, there's some good competition out there like ‘Step Brothers’, 'T2: Judgment Day', 'The Program', and 'The Wrestler' - but for my money, no movie uses the sweet sounds of Guns N' Roses as well as 'Thor: Love and Thunder'.

Spoilers (highlight to reveal): I mean, c'mon, the piano build to Slash's 'November Rain' solo kicking in and building up during the final battle was an INSTANTLY iconic MCU moment. While most of this movie failed to live up to the high bar that 'Ragnarok' set, I thought that moment and use of the 'November Rain' solo was as good as 'Immigrant Song' on the bridge in Asgaard.

Anyway, check out our 'Thor: Love and Thunder' review on YouTube, Spotify, or Apple Podcasts now!

We discuss the movie at length, some of the criticism it has received from the fanbase, how Christian Bale did as Gorr the God Butcher, what they could've done to improve the story (let it breathe!), and of course, speculate about where those mid/post-credits scenes could lead!

I didn't think 'Love and Thunder' was as good as 'Ragnarok', mostly thanks to the rushed pacing and tonal whiplash at times, but I still really enjoyed the hell out of it and thought it was one of the better MCU projects of Phase 4. I'm also a total sucker for Taika Waititi's brand of humor and directing, which helped a ton. Nobody makes me laugh like Korg.

P.S. Do we have to make Infinity Conez shirts now? I feel like we do.

Bonus Clip: Prior to 'Love and Thunder', this was the best use of Guns N' Roses in a movie….

Chills every time 'Sweet Child O Mine' hits. Tremendous movie.
