Jeff Wittek Is Suing David Dobrik For $10 Million Dollars
If you don't know who David Dobrik is, you are living under a rock. He is the most famous you-tuber on the internet who has been under heat as of late.
I don't want to go into everything into detail but he has been under a lot of scrutiny as of late. This specific incident has been going on for awhile. Jeff Wittek was apart of the Vlog Squad and one day they took a crane into the water and Dobrik took over the controls over the crane and ended up smashing Witteks face and making him almost blind and die. It was an accident but Wittek thinks he crossed the line for content. To understand the whole story you can watch it on Jeffs youtube here.
This came out in April and it kind of seemed like maybe since he posted this making Dobrik look bad they can see eye to eye now and get over it. That was an eye joke that i felt like had to be done but I see both sides.
Wittek has his own successful podcast and goes on rants all the time about David Dobrik and suing for $10 million might work out in his favor. I watched the documentary and Jeff went through some traumatic surgeries.
When you really think about you-tubers it doesn't seem like real life. This man is suing another guy for hitting him in the face with a crane, like what kind of freak accident is that and why do they have a crane? I feel like you need to take a test to be able to drive one of those things. Regardless it'll be interesting to see what unfolds next.
Wittek was asked by the papparazzi if this was confirmed and he said yes but he can't talk about it. I feel like all of these internet celebrities get so famous and get egos and all stop being friends at one point too. On Tik Tok it seems like a cluster of them hang out make videos and then all of a sudden someone goes too far in a prank or something and the sue each other. I wonder if these people are actual friends are know they need each other for views. Thats a lot of backlash that Dobrik gets, people don't want to stop being friends or say no to videos because it is their lively hood. I don't know what is happening but people are interested in this saga.
