Len Bias Is The Ultimate Sports 'What If?' Question

On the last episode of LCB, we broke down some news, reviewed Jurassic World: Dominion and did a "What if?" multiverse sports draft with the writer of 'Dr Strange and the Multiverse of Madness' and 'Loki', Michael Waldron. Personally, I think I crushed it thanks to my #1 Overall, the #2 Overall Len Bias. He was obviously a destructive force for Maryland and was compared very early on to Michael Jordan. Imagine what he could have done for that Celtics team? The lineup of Bird, McHale, Parish, Johnson and Bias would have absolutely dominated the league in the late 80s. Beyond the pure offensive production, he could have personally extended the career of Larry Bird by taking away a big chunk of load management.

What would it mean in terms of championships, though? The Celtics lost to the Pistons in the ECF the year they drafted bias, and were knocked out in the opening round the two years after that. Does that happen with Bias on the roster? I don't think so.

I think the only miss I had was if Brees had passed his physical with the dolphins. That would have changed a lot in the NFL, but even more in college football because of Saban.
