HOLY FUCKING SHIT.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT.

What did we just witness? Am I dead? Is this heaven? Do Jews even go to heaven? What am I even saying right now? I mean…the Warriors were 9-0 at home. They were up what, 15 points? Things looked over. NOPE. NEVER. Not with this team. The Boston Celtics punch back. I've tried telling you this. You remember how devastating that 38-24 3rd quarter felt? Well how about a fucking 40-16 fourth quarter to steal Game 1 and home court. In the NBA FUCKING FINALS. Jaylen Brown started it all. I think he had 10 points to start the 4th? It's hard for me to remember right now because I am pretty sure I am blogging blacked out right now. Then came Al Horford. The guy waited his whole life for this moment and I'm ready to die for this man. Derrick White needs to have more children immediately. The defense he played on Steph, the threes he made, he changed everything in that 4th quarter. Then, late in the 4th guess who had the ball to take AND MAKE some additional huge threes? Marcus. That is why you trust him to take open threes late in the game. So many people cried about his 4th quarter against MIA, well this is why you live with it. He can make em.

But more importantly, think of what the Celtics just survived. Steph went fucking nuclear to start this game. Tatum literally could not buy a bucket. The Warriors came out of the half like they always do and punched you right in the mouth. It still wasn't enough. To survive all that and be walking away with a win is so fucking massive. Game 2 is now basically house money. The goal was to split the first two, anything more than that was icing on the cake. We knew this team could run with the Warriors if they just played their game and that's exactly what happened. The defense tightened up when it needed to, Jaylen carried early and the supporting cast carried late, and they didn't quit. They just kept going. There was no implosion. There was no feeling sorry for themselves. That was the old Celtics. These Celtics punch back and deliver a knock out while they're at it.

We'll regroup more in the morning. I need a minute to collect my thoughts. All I know is this. I love this team. They did it, they really fucking did it.

LOVE AND TRUST FOREVER
