Tommy Pham Has Been Suspended Three Games For Slapping Joc Pederson Over Fantasy Football - Bonus: We Now Have Video Of The Slap

One of the weirder storylines in baseball continued today as Tommy Pham has been hit with a three game suspension for his slap on Joc Pederson before yesterday's game. It's a story that simply doesn't feel like real life, but every detail that comes out makes it more and more incredible. 

We now have video footage of the slap.

That was a pretty hard slap by Pham if we're being honest. Some legit Will Smith shit here as it was described yesterday. Looked like those were his glasses flying off? Guess that explains why every player on the field sprinted over there to break it up. Pham went on to explain himself today in the douchiest way possible. 

"I'm a big dog in Vegas" aka I get cleaned out in Vegas frequently. Jesus fucking Christ dude you can't possibly sound like a bigger loser. Joc just trying to warm up for the game and here comes this dude screaming he's a high roller at the casino, crying about a fantasy football move from 2020. 

Yesterday we got an explanation from Joc as to what this was all over

The seriousness in his face the whole time here killed me. I mean this is over fantasy football and you'd think Joc was addressing a Josh Donaldson-Tim Anderson type situation. We are outside of this world. 

Now I guess the only question is how much money were they actually playing for? $50k a team? $100k? When stakes get that high and you have a dude dicking around with the IR and gaining a roster advantage then people are gonna get pissed. Still can't possibly side with the dude who calls himself a "big dog in Vegas" or wants to fight Luke Voit at gym because of a totally clean slide at home. 

Whatever it is, lots of people are talking about baseball. Grow the game baby!
