Pup Punk Is Playing Oceans Calling Festival With OAR, Dave Matthews, Alanis Morissette, The Lumineers, And More

Well this is one of the coolest announcements I've ever had the pleasure of making - Pup Punk (aka the Barstool house band comprised of Rone, PFT Commenter, Frankie Borrelli, Nick Hamilton, and myself) will be playing on the first ever Oceans Calling Festival in Ocean City, Maryland on October 1st!

This isn't just any old festival, either; take a look at that lineup! 

On Friday you've got Dave Matthews/Tim Reynolds, Dirty Heads, OAR, Grouplove, Skip Marley, Noah Kahan, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Peach Pit, Johnnyswim, The New Respects, Mihali, and Virginia Coalition. Saturday brings The Lumineers, Cage the Elephant, Logic, Young The Giant, Jimmy Eat World, Allen Stone, Larkin Poe, Wilderado, and PUP PUNK(!!!!) Then on Sunday, Alanis Morissette headlines with Cyndi Lauper, Sublime w/ Rome, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Tai Verdes, Lawrence, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, and The Samples on the undercard, with another set by OAR and friends! This thing is stacked from top to bottom!

I'd honestly be making the trip down for this festival regardless of whether we were playing or not, so to be able to share the poster with all of these legends is pretty damn awesome to me. I can't wait. Hopefully Sublime lets us play Rock Papers Scissors with them for the rights to play 'What I Got' considering it's been in our setlist for FOUR WHOLE YEARS. Jimmy Eat World better not even THINK about playing 'The Middle', tho - that one's ours and they know it.
