UNC Big Man Armando Bacot Is Cashing In On His March Run The Best Way Possible - He's A Cast Member For 'Outer Banks' Season 3

[247] - North Carolina star big man Armando Bacot will be featured in season three of the popular Netflix series Outer Banks. The Tar Heel rising senior was down in Charleston, South Carolina filming this week and posted a short video to his Instagram story with Chase Stokes, who plays the main character John B, and Rudy Pankow who plays JJ.

Bacot told Inside Carolina on Wednesday that he is playing a character named 'Mando' and that he will appear in a few episodes. He couldn't reveal many other details

I need Armando Bacot to be annoying in this show or something. He's becoming too likable for me for a UNC big man. He needs to be hated like Zeller or Hansbrough or even John Henson. But this is what you're supposed to do when you're a college kid and banking on a big March run. Even I can't deny the fact he was awesome in the NCAA Tournament and a major reason UNC was in the title game. He's cashing in now by landing a spot in Outer Banks.

It's a good show. I don't know what else to tell you. Unrealistic, but I love it. Watched the shit out of season 1 and 2 and look forward to season 3. It's an ideal show to knock out with a significant other too, which is the real selling point. If you're dating someone, living with someone or married you know exactly what I'm talking about. This is especially true in the summer when you're stuck watching baseball and likely a team that's already eliminated. Maybe that's just me and the O's. I can only talk my wife into so many Tuesday night games at Camden Yards when there's 8,000 people there. 

I wonder if this will somehow be worked into an NIL deal. I wouldn't necessarily be shocked because athletes are finding unique ways to capitalize on it. This is one way. I do love the creativity with the name though. Mando, no one will ever figure out it's Armando Bacot. Just Mando, JJ, John B and the rest of the Pogues running around South Carolina. I will admit I am jealous he gets to go to Charleston. Favorite city in America.
