Harrison Bader Pulled An All Time Dickhead Move When He Threw Bobby Witt Jr.'s First Career Home Run Ball Into The Fountains In Kansas City

Bobby Witt Jr. had a pretty slow start to his MLB career, he struggled early but he finally found his power stroke and smoked this ball for his first big league home run. A moment he'll never forget, a moment he's dreamed about forever, something his family has been waiting for since they first saw this kid swing a bat. That ball is going to be a keepsake forever, one of his most treasured possessions....except if it's soaking wet. And thanks to the Cardinals' Harrison Bader, that is exactly what happened to Witt Jr's first home run ball. The ball goes into the crowd, bounces off some hands and falls back onto the field. Harrison Bader then does something so horrifying I can't believe it actually happened.

Bader picks up the ball from the warning track and instead of a regular toss into the crowd so someone could have a souvenir and eventually trade it back to Witt Jr, he chucks it up INTO the fountain. That baseball is now waterlogged and soaking wet all thanks to Harrison Bader. I'm not going to lie, that's a dickhead move by Bader. Probably didn't realize it was Witt Jr's first career tater ball, but still. I thought the Cardinals knew the game? You can't toss this ball into the fountain, you can't. That ball is ruined now. At least Witt will probably be able to get it back, unless theres a ton of BP balls in there. You hope they were able to retrieve it out for him and they can toss it in a drier and dry that bad boy out. Thumbs down move by Bader here, guy is probably going to get booed for the rest of his career when he comes to Kansas City for the rest of his career. Come on Harrison, be better.
