Welp. At this point even I have watched that more times than I care to admit, so I know what you're all thinking...

His name is Nino Franchina AKA The Truffle God AKA The Salt Bae of Extremely Expensive Mushrooms and he's a waiter at Il Pastaio, a celebrity hot spot that's been a staple in LA for 25+ years. According to his Instagram bio he's,

"..just a Sicilian who landed in Beverly Hills sharing my love of good food, wine, and of course truffles!"

Wow, even Dave Portnoy has met him, ^^^ And he's got his own chain which makes him the real deal. 

Clearly Nino's been making it rain with his infamous 'truffle showers' for quite some time, and now that the latest video has gone viral I'm thinking we'll see a lot more where this came from. 

Personally I hate truffles. The smell alone makes me gag and if someone at the table orders something with it, the stink ruins my whole vibe. They're over-hyped and thus wayyyy overpriced (white truffles can cost $4K/lb). Some people are saying, "Oh you're just hating because you haven't been out to dinner in like 2 years and you'd never get a truffle shower because your boobs are too weird now," but that's simply not true. Good for them, glad those women are enjoying it, whoever they are.
