Laremy Tunsil Is Selling His Gas Mask Moment As An NFT To Raise Money For People In Jail For Weed

That my friends, is how you control your own narrative. I think we all remember where we were when the Laremy Tunsil video leaked on draft night, causing his stock to drop. Didn't make a whole lot of sense to me at the time, oh big whoop, a football player smoked a weed, but 6 years ago GMs were shittin their britches over it, which made him drop from likely being taken 6th by the Ravens down to 13th by the Dolphins.

For my money the gas mask video is one of the most iconic draft moments in NFL history. Literally Mel Kiper and Todd McShay were on TV talking about god knows what and then Twitter blew the fuck up.

And now, 6 years later, Tunsil gets the last laugh. He gets to sell the video as an NFT, raise some money for a good cause, and come full circle on what probably was a pretty miserable moment in his life. Sure he still went 13th, but that video probably caused more headaches for him than he deserved.

Will this inspire other draft-day NFTs? Maybe Aaron Rodgers can sell the video of him sitting alone in the green room while every team passed him over. Fletcher Cox can sell his 3 hour hug with Goodell. And if we pivot to the NBA, Jan Veasley can sell his makeout with his girlfriend, whom some say are still kissing right to this minute.
