At 36 Years Old, Ovi Once Again Has A 50 Goal Season Like The Absolute Legend He Is

I don't know what more can be said about this absolute legend of a man. ANOTHER 50 goal season, tying him for the most all time in NHL history, and the first to do it at the age of 36. For most it wouldn't make sense, but Ovi isn't most. He's one of a kind. The greatest pure goal scorer we'll ever see. And age is just a concept to him, but it doesn't apply. 

This beautiful, beautiful human now has 780 career goals. NEXT SEASON we should see him pass Howe. And then 2 seasons after, Gretzky, barring something terrible happening knock on wood. 

Ovi is simply the best. We're so lucky we get to watch him play at this high of a level, this far into his career. A shame he only has another 10-15 more seasons in him, I want him to play forever.

PS: I'm not even going to talk about a certain Chiclets knock-off podcast who said Ovi is washed and the Caps wouldn't make the playoffs. Not going to do that. I will talk about this though:
