Ken Griffey Jr. Continues To Prove He's The Coolest Person On Earth By Flaunting His Amazing Zoom Background
No one cooler than the kid, Junior Griffey was kind of the first cool baseball player. You turned your hat around, you had his shoes, you played his games (CALL CALL CALL ME JUNIOR), you even tried to be lefty when you weren't. I know you did. We all knew how cool he was back then, but he continues to be the man even nowadays. Need evidence? Just look at the background of him zooms. Ryan Fagan tweeted out that he spoke with Jr. and couldn't help but notice the collection of Gold Gloves back there. He did win 10 of them (in consecutive years I may add), so when you win that many you have to find storage for them all. What better place to put them than right behind your desk so the entire world can see when you hop on a zoom? Most of us have some BS college degree, a picture of the family, maybe a bookshelf or two, but that is for the birds. Griffey doesn't even try to hide the fact that he's a legend, he throws those Gold Gloves right in your face. I don't think anyone blames him for it too, hell if I had 10 Gold Gloves I'd have one on the hood of my car. Love how he flaunts it for everyone to see, that's what makes him so damn cool.
Today also just happened to be the anniversary of this bomb and a half from The Kid. Enjoy it.
