I Went To Brooklyn Beckham And Nicola Peltz's Wedding This Weekend, And This Is Actually What Happened
Brooklyn Beckham tied the knot with actress and billionaire heiress Nicola Peltz in a lavish ceremony yesterday.
The son of celebrity power couple David and Victoria Beckham, Brooklyn (23) and Nicola (27) said "I do" at her parents’ $103 million estate in Palm Beach in Florida.
Nicola stunned in a Valentino gown with sweeping lace veil, while Brooklyn looked dapper in a black tuxedo.
The event took place in a series of giant white tented structures and is believed to have cost in the region of $4million.
God, I've been spending SOOOO much time in Florida for weddings lately. I knew that when my favorite couple and best friends, Brooklyn and Nicola, were finally going to tie the knot I had no choice but to hop back on a plane down to Palm Beach. As Nicola's family are Jewish, the pair were married by a Rabbi under a flower-garlanded chuppah in a traditional Jewish ceremony.
Oh my goooddd, Romeo and Cruz I was DEAD! They are just SO grown up now! I still picture them as little kids! And HARPER? What a little lady! It feels like yesterday she was in diapers! You wouldn't BELIEVE the amount of people going up to Venus and Serena at this wedding talking about Will Smith. It's like, hello??? That literally happened two weeks ago, he's not actually their dad! Does ANYONE have any tact these days? Although I do vaguely remember a giggly conversation I had with Mel C about Venus' nip slip, but she was laughing about that too! The nerve of some people.
Snoop Dawg is reported to have DJed at the event, and Bruno Mars is also said to have entertained the crowd.
A lavish wedding banquet was created by renowned Miami chef Thierry Isambert, who used to cook for President Bill Clinton. The dinner took place in one of the tents, while the ceremony took place in another and another tent was the location for a cocktail reception.
I was SO happy to see Snoop when I walked in, it had felt like forever since I'd seen him. Plus, I wanted to know if he had the full scoop on Martha Stewart's cat (ugh, he didn't.) Bruno was of course still riding the high from the Grammys, that man LOVES a stage! It's so bizarre, I ran into Thierry and I couldn't figure out how I knew him. It drove me nuts all night.
