Winning championships in college football is extremely simple. All you have to do is string together four or five recruiting classes filled with 6'5", 235-pound 5-stars who run 10.32 100-meter dashes and you will be the best team in the country. I don't know why so many people try to make it more complicated than that.

The kid in that video who's a head taller than everyone else and running faster than the speed of sound is Nyckoles Harbor, the No. 12 overall recruit and No. 1 ATH in the 2023 class. Someone on Reddit did much more detailed math than I'm willing to do and found that a 100-meter time like Harbor's is roughly equivalent to a 4.3 40-yard dash. You'll take that in an edge rusher the day he steps on campus 11 times out of 10.

Shane Beamer nailed it after South Carolina played Georgia last season: sometimes it really is as simple as just winning the recruiting battle for guys like Harbor. When you get enough guys like that on the field, there aren't very many teams in the country who even have a chance of beating you.

If you were curious how well Harbor's track speed translates to the football field, the answer is "very." This kid is going to be a problem.
