Eric Church Has Issued A Statement Saying He Will Be Putting On A Free Concert For Anyone Who Had Tickets To The Show He Canceled In Order To Attend The Final 4

Many people were mad at my take on the rundown. I love Eric Church. One of my all-time favorite. I didn't think it was cool to blow off your commitment to a concert in order to watch Coach K's last game in the Final Four against UNC. I understand the magnitude of the game. I think I might have been the only one in the company, and one of the only people on the internet who was critical of this move by Church. There were people saying that the people crying online were losers for being so upset. Not me. The median household income in San Antonio is like $53k. For most people seeing that concert is their one big night out on the year or quarter. If showing up and doing your job when you've taken money to do that job is wrong then I don't want to be right. That might be an unpopular take, but that has never stopped me before. At least you guys know that I say what I mean and I'm not constantly politicking and doing schticks to get you all to like me.

Having said that...I think this is enough to get Church square with doing the right thing. People got their money back and a free show. That is a very cool gesture. He is back on the right side of karma and now I think UNC wins.
