The Will Smith Slap Of Chris Rock Might Have Been 6 Years In The Making

"But what happened this year? People went mad. Spike Lee went mad… Jada Pinkett Smith went mad. Will Smith went mad. Everyone went mad," Rock said during his monologue. Another harmless joke, but a joke thrown in Jada Pinkett Smith's direction. If the slap was about a 6 year grudge that Will and Jada have been stewing on then I guess I respect it more in a way. I love a good grudge. I respect a long grudge. I get to points where I hate someone so much that every little thing they do bothers me. Now, I am a regular person so I don't want across the stage and assault someone in front of millions of people and then give the craziest rambling incoherent acceptance speech about nothing 10 minutes later. No, I usually just stomach it and bark at the person for making another lame joke and continue to harbor anger...forever. One day I might snap like Will Smith did. For now I will probably continue to say things under my breath like a normal person.
