The Eagles Keep On Signing Decent Homegrown Philly Linebackers And I, For One, Don't Hate It One Bit
"Homegrown" of course I mean Emmaus High School in Lehigh County. But, hey, if we're claiming Mike Trout from Millville, NJ as a "Philly" athlete then this certainly fits the bill for citizenship. And I don't hate it one bii. Kyzir "Soze" White is a 26-year-old stud fresh off a 144 tackle season ready to blossom in South Philly. Plus he brings the heat with this sort of fire which we absolutely love:
Sure, this possibly means little to LB's drafted in the first round with Howie's three picks, which kinda sucks, but OK. Between Kyzir and Hasson Reddick straight out of Temple/South Jersey with his 21.5 sacks over the past two years, I'm not going to complain about uncertainties in the draft. Yet. You ready for this? I'm going to give credit where credit is due: Good...job...Howie. That wasn't easy. But these two LB's are very decent signings for the Eagles and even the strongest haters can't deny that fact. Everything else this offseason? Meh...I'm going to wait through the draft to decide.
Until then. Go Birds. And listen/follow/sub to First Time, Long Time with myself and Rone. We'll hang up and listen.
PS - Just learned it was a one-year deal. More Band-Aid action by Howie. Still good to have him, but there always has to be another side to the story…
