Nobody Is More Dedicated To Their Job Than This Volunteer Chasing Down A Rogue Piece Of Trash At The WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play
The great thing about life is that it's all what you make of it. There are plenty of folks out there who are perfectly content with just sitting around and being mediocre in every facet of life. Don't put anything into life? That's fine, but you just won't get anything out of it either.
But this kid over here? He wants more out of life. He wants greatness, and he knows the only way he'll achieve greatness is if he goes above and beyond to earn it for himself. Most people see a rogue bit of trash flying away in the wind and they figure to themselves, "ehhh someone else will get that". The issue is if everybody thinks to themselves that somebody else will handle it, well then nobody ever actually handles it. Not on this kid's watch. He's not going to let a plastic bag continue to wreak havoc and cause chaos at his golf tournament.
Shows some tremendous close out speed on that pursuit. Commits to the dive at the perfect moment. It was a true display of excellence. And there's no telling how many shots he saved for the rest of the tournament. You have no idea if the wind would change direction and send that bag flying down to 18 and potentially robbing us of this insane shot from Keegan Bradley.
Anything can happen in match play. You just never know. But fortunately we didn't have to find out, all thanks to the heroism and athleticism of that volunteer who made it his life's mission to make that plastic bag his bitch.
