Zlatan Doesn't Give A Damn About Retirement Because The 'Greatest Sadness Will Be Ours For Never Getting To Watch Him Again'

Zlatan is the best quote in sports. There's no one like him. It's almost impossible to cheer against him simply for the fact of how much of a lunatic he is. Whether it's claiming he's the MLS, claiming he was going to teach Los Angeles how to drive and then going back to AC Milan and still being decent at 40. Shit, he got called back to Sweden at this age. Sure, he's coming off injury but he's still pretty damn good for being 40. So now we're talking about retirement and you think he gives a damn? Absolutely not.

You could make a legit case that Zlatan is the most entertaining athlete in the world, no matter the sport. You can't argue that he's the best shit talker in sports. It's not even close. The dude is world class.

The real problem is for us. We'll never get to see him again. We'll never see someone like Zlatan again. You know what? He's right. He's 100% right. Sure we'll get some crazy dudes. Sure we'll get some really damn good players. But we won't have this sort of combo. We won't ever see someone with the personality of Zlatan while also being good. Also just the name. Zlatan is such an unreal name.

Get Sweden in the World Cup. Get US in the World Cup.
