This Barstool Blogger Just Signed A $21 Million Dollar Contract

While the Barstool logic may tend to think that my guy Lil Sas got his raise, it was actually Leonard Fournette aka Barstool Lenny, who you may remember from this excellent soccer blog, who signed a new $21M deal, which could be up to $24M with incentives, per Ian Rapoport.

This is noteworthy as Fournette, the #4 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, following his release from the Jacksonville Jaguars, has thrived in Tampa. After an up-and-down first season, he really came on in the playoffs earning the nickname, "Playoff Lenny".

Fournette took his game to the next level this year really stepping up in pass protection, improving his receiving skills, and becoming a much more consistent player.

But this news is also significant as he visited the New England Patriots yesterday with the hopes to get a deal done.

But at the end of the day, Tom Brady gets what Tom Brady wants.
