David Dobrik Finally Speaks On Jeff Wittek's Incident & As Usual Is Bad At Taking Blame

In June 2020, while filming a video for David Dobrik one of David's Vlog Squad members Jeff Wittek suffered major injuries from an accident after being swung from an excavator. If you haven't already seen it, Jeff has an entire YouTube series on this incident & his journey to recovery where you can watch the accident in real time. We must warn you it's quite graphic. Since the incident Jeff has undergone many surgeries on his face, eye & skull. Jeff has publicly spoken about the incident but David has not, until now. David's response/apology is following Jeff's claims that David did not reach out to him after a recent surgery which made Jeff upset. Jeff also took part in The Roast of Bryce Hall where he ended up pulling his set from the YouTube version of the roast because David & one of David's main sponsors Seat Geek asked for some of Jeff's jokes to be removed. While other jokes from other influencers were cut from the roast, Jeff believes his cut jokes are a direct result of David Dobrik.

David opened up about the incident from his side on his most recent episode of his podcast 'Views.' David per usual isn't the best at taking blame for anything negative that results from his vlogs. David also said that he wished he was in Jeff's position & that he paid $78,000 for Jeff's surgeries. Jeff essentially responded saying that was pocket change for David & that David set him up with a bad insurance company. We don't know if the back & forth will die down between Jeff & David but we hope Jeff gets his justice or can at least come to peace with the accident since his life has been changed forever in major ways.
