The Game Says He Is A Better Rapper Than Eminem. The Game...

Complex - Royce da 5’9” has offered up his thoughts after the Game proclaimed himself a better rapper than Eminem.

During his recent appearance on Drink Champs, the Game said he used to think Eminem “was better” than him but now he thinks otherwise. “Is Eminem better than me? Nah, he not, bro," he said just days later in a clip shared on Instagram.

While Royce thinks Game is “a legend,” he said the Compton rapper has a lot to prove if he wants to try and “outrap” Em.

Royce didn’t downplay Game’s talent as a rapper, but he did suggest it’s not easy to face-off against Em on a song, which he’s done many times including on their joint album Bad Meets Evil

“Game is a monster,” he said. “He’ll just have his hands full. Em is a hard dude to out-rap. Nine times out of 10, you’ll be sending him your verse or when he get your verse…he gonna aim to out-rap you. He probably ain’t get out-rapped ever, that competitive edge is always there.”

Yo game, you loco esé?

Giphy Images.

Remember The Game?

He burst onto the scene thanks to being co-signed by 50 Cent and signed to G-Unit at the height of the G-Unit craze.

Thanks to Dr. Dre's generosity, and determination to NEVER deliver us Detox, he was gift-wrapped some of Dre's greatest beats of all time. Which turned The Game's debut album, "The Documentary," into one of the greatest rap albums ever.

We're talking burners like

Then again on Doctor's Advocate

This mother fucker also got some of Kanye's best work-

Including his new hit

But besides that?

Not much else man.

Which is why it is MIND BOTTLING that he would have the audacity to come at Eminem like this.

We're not talking somebody in the actual top ten, or even top twenty, greatest rappers alive here saying he's better than one of the greatest ever.

Why does everybody love to come at Eminem so much? I don't get it. Sure it'll get your name to pop for a week or two, but it's literally a death wish.

Nick Cannon had a decent R&B/rap career happening before Eminem basically forced him into retirement.

(Never forget the line- "you wanna ruin my career? you better get one first")

Benzino. Machine Gun Kelly. Mariah. Limp Bizkit. And of course Ja Rule. All murdered on tracks by Marshall Mathers.

And Royce is right. You have to have balls to even agree to be featured on the same track as Eminem because I'm pretty sure he's never been outdone on a song before.

The man is an animal. Look no further than him smoking 3 of the best rappers alive on the classic "Forever."

Still bangs by the way.

Full interview can be heard/watched here. I bookmarked the Eminem part.

p.s. - never sleep on that "Bad Meets Evil" record Royce and Eminem did together. What a fucking great album.

p.p.s. - check out the time I visited and got a backstage peek at Eminem's restaurant Mom's Spaghetti in Detroit
