Clayton Thinks He Can Fornicate His Way To An Engagement

Clayton, Clayton, Clayton...

We had back to back Bachelor episodes this week & they were drama filled. Night one started with the Women Tell All where Shanae was put in the hot seat & wouldn't go back on her actions throughout the show. Clayton also got grilled by the women for his seemingly thoughtless decisions. 

Clayton didn't stop there though making waves during his Fantasy Suite dates on night two. Out of the blue, Susie reveals it would be a dealbreaker for her if Clayton had sex with any of the other women. We immediately knew Susie would be the last date out of the final three women & our suspicions were confirmed that Rachel & Gabby would be getting the "I've been intimate with both of you" speech we've seen since the initial trailer for this Bachelor season. Not only did Clayton have sex with Rachel & Gabby but he also told all THREE women that he was in love/loved them. 

By the time we got to Susie's date we knew she was doomed. She made it clear she was not doing well stomaching the other women's dates many times. Our favorite time was when Susie said she was 'spiraling' as she was going down a spiral staircase with the most ominous Disney villain music we've ever heard on the show. 

On the date, Susie finally reveals to Clayton that she didn't want to give him an ultimatum but if he slept with the other girls or told them he loved them she was out. Clayton then revealed to Susie that he loved her more than the other women, which we believe. Then Clayton started to spiral himself. Clayton initially told Susie he had sex with "someone" and told "someone" he loved them. That quickly changed to him revealing he had sex with both of them & told both of them he loved them. This is where Clayton lost us. He went off the rails & did not handle himself well at all. He began putting the blame back on Susie for not telling them. Should Susie have been more transparent ahead of time? Yes. Is it crazy to hope your future husband doesn't have sex with two other women this close to your engagement? Not at all. 

After Clayton & Susie stepped away from each other to cool down a bit, Clayton decided Susie should leave. We truly believe when Susie & Clayton reunited that she would have been able to be talked into staying she just wanted him to fight for her. Instead, he basically said this: 

& then he told her to hit the road. We're just as shocked as you. We could go on about this for awhile & that's exactly what we do on today's podcast.
