Maybe If You're An Airline Pilot You SHOULD NOT Get Drunk Before A Flight

NY Post- A JetBlue pilot was yanked out of a cockpit minutes before takeoff from an upstate New York airport Wednesday and found to have a blood alcohol level more than four times the legal limit to fly, according to reports.

James Clifton, 52, took a Breathalyzer after cops removed him from the Fort Lauderdale-bound plane out of Buffalo Niagara International Airport, a Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority spokesperson told The Buffalo News.

The Orlando, Fla., resident was allegedly visibly tipsy when he went through security before boarding the plane, leading Transportation Security Administration agents to notify cops, the report said.

DUDE! What are we doing here Mr. Clifton! There truly are no people that love drinking more than me and I couldn't be any more confident in that statement. It's awesome (responsibly!). Obviously it's always the best to sit back with a few tasty beverages and see where the night takes you when you're at the airport. That's all well and good...UNLESS YOUR THE PILOT OF THE PLANE! There's always a time & place for everything my guy! Just like you shouldn't play loud music outside a funeral home or obnoxiously root for the away team at an intense sporting event, you probably should not get intoxicated before a flight if you're the captain of the plane. That's just common sense. Wait until you get to your destination then booze up till the sun rises dude!

And this guy even had a gun with him! In all seriousness thank God this was sniffed out by the TSA because a drunken armed pilot really does not sound like the best scenario.

The pilot, who had a registered firearm he was taking through the gates, “seemed ‘off'” to TSA workers, according to a partially redacted NFTA police report obtained by The Post.

On top of that it looks like this fuckin' guy caused a 4 HOUR DELAY! 4 HOURS! You know what, I take it all back. I'll take my chances with the drunk, planes basically fly themselves anyway these days.
