Tom Izzo Handled A Technical Foul With Grace And Aplomb .... By Blaming The Wisconsin/Michigan Fiasco

What a spin zone by Tom Izzo. Michigan State got its butt kicked, Izzo got a technical and everything was fairly ugly for Michigan State last night at Iowa. But he didn't run onto the court damnit. He was just on there. It wasn't even his fault! It was the Wisconsin/Michigan fight. That had the refs on edge. Not him yelling about a foul. No sir, not Tom Izzo. 

I even have to admit - as a legitimate journalist that a Michigan State 'reporter' so desperately wants me to be - I appreciate this spin zone. I appreciate it so much that I won't even swear in this blog, because that's not what 'legitimate journalists' do. I actually respect Tom Izzo for not taking blame for this. Put it in on a fight that you had nothing to do with. Blame the refs for being on edge. Do anything but admit you were upset with the refs considering, you know, the technical happened as Iowa was on a fast break after a somewhat bad no-call. 

Personally I'm just glad we had a handshake line. Everything is fine since they shook hands. We can look past blaming Michigan and Wisconsin because of that. Someone may want to give Izzo a heads up that coaches aren't allowed on the floor during play. Just trying to help here.
