Deion Sanders is Building Something Special At Jackson State And It's Once Again Time For Us To Witness Everything Behind the Scenes

Tonight a brand new episode of Coach Prime (Fall Season) dropped and I couldn’t be more excited for everybody to see it. I know a lot of our Barstool audience may not know a whole lot about Jackson State football, and to me that’s an absolute shame. More people should know about the amazing culture of HBCU’s and especially their football program. Just check out this fucking crowd at the Jackson State vs Alcorn State game this past fall.

My 10 months in Jackson with Coach Prime this year have been amazing and I’ve learned so much about not only HBCU football, but HBCUs in general. Deion is doing a truly amazing thing by shining more light on these institutions and the people who consume our content at Barstool should absolutely know more about it. These episodes do not sugarcoat what went down this past fall, from the team’s 11-2 season to everything with Coach Prime’s foot complications. I spent a ton of time in the hospital with Deion capturing the true story of why he was in the hospital for 23 days and it’s must-see stuff. 

This is not a normal Barstool series. We had a production crew on site at JSU’s campus every single day for 4 months of a football season. It’s the most well-produced thing we’ve ever put out here at Barstool and it doesn’t matter if you don’t know the first thing about Jackson State. I’m sure a ton of people here didn’t know a single thing about EMCC football but still watched Last Chance U. Well this is even better.
