Terrifying Video Of A Guy Losing Direction And Almost Passing Out While Swimming Under A Frozen Lake
I feel like there's one of these videos every year and every year I find myself asking the same question - why? Like what could possibly motivate someone to jump in that lake, swim under the ice, and pop up on the other side frozen and disoriented. How is that fun? I'm all for a thrill, but the risk isn't worth the reward. What even is the reward? Bragging rights? I'm just so confused. What's even more confusing is how he got stuck in the first place. Not only was it a straight shot, but they had a rope tied to his waist and he still managed to get himself all turned around. Another thirty seconds and he would've been dead. You can see scared he was when he surfaced...
I guess this is what they do for fun in Slovakia. The craziest part is that that guy is thirty one years old. I'd expect this from like a teenager, but an adult? No. Apparently he's also relatively well known in the old country…his name is Boris Oravec and here's what he sad to say about his little mishap…
"In my head, I had thousands of thoughts about how I could die.”
Seems about right. You can check out Boris' Instagram here. It's not a bad follow if we're being completely honest. That's it for this one. Stay safe out there, queens.
