I’ve been laughing at this all week. First time I heard it I actually bellied laughed. “Jurlie.” I got so much jurly, but its not even about the jurlie!

Jewelry was already one of my favorite words in hip hop because they all just say “Jury.” Like Jury Duty to a rapper would mean you own a store selling diamonds and necklaces and rings. Its your duty to sell me jury. Record is a good one too. Rekkid. Gotta sell rekkids so you can buy jury.

But JURLIE is some next level shit that made me howl with laughter. Every one on The Breakfast Club shouting JEWEL-ER-Y and he’s just completely ignoring them. Continuing with whatever dumb ass monologue he was on. But thats just what happens when you’re rich and famous and have so much money and so much jurlie. You think you need to listen when other people talk if you’re rocking that much jurlie? You think you give a fuck about pronunciation if you’re rocking that much jurlie? No. The answer is no. Jurlie trumps all that other shit.

PS – Jurlie sounds like the name of a racist Southern cop in a movie. Officer Jasper Jurlie, burning crosses and shit. He’d end up being the killer in the end.
