TIKO, MO3, & THE MEAN GIRLS DISCUSS IF VALENTINES DAY IS TOXIC, SUITE LIFE AT MSG & MUCH MORE

This Mean Girls - Episode 11of @THETIKOTEN was one of my most comfortable ones so far, and Im not even sure why.

Me and Moe arrived to the office and went to an empty room, where we called my SXSW connect and discussed details for the first Tiko Ten live show at SXSW. My co-star and twin brother Patric unfortunately was driving at the time that we were recording the podcast and couldn't call in time. Nevertheless, the show must go on. Me, Alex, Moe, Jordyn all settled into the radio room, all smiles. As soon as we started, we couldn't stop laughing. 4 Goofy Girls, on one show. We laughed the entire time, if we're being honest. We shot the shit, related to each other, we learned from each other. We talked crushes, tea, sports, freshman year at Barstool. and much more. We told secrets, and we got real. I have much respect for Alex Bennett & Jordyn Woodruff for supporting my show because we are all in freshman year, and what a muhfuckin 4 months it's been. How is it that a girl from Texas, a girl from Minnesota, a girl from Oklahoma, and a girl from Pittsburgh could all be in the same room, from completely different backgrounds.. but all going through the same shit? We dropped our guard during this episode. We said how we felt, about whatever got brought up. In that glass room in the middle of HQ, we were our own bosses. We coulda done whatever the fuck we wanted. We can talk about whatever we want. As the conversation and laughs flowed through so easily, I took a moment to take in the whole scene. The Tiko Ten's banner hung behind me. I manifested this. This was my world. My playground. Rules, what are they? We're living our life moment to moment. In the next search of that euphoria that you get from being on the beach with your friends, or when a boy you like kisses your forehead, or when you're performing on a stage in front of 10,000 humans . We talked about so many things. From My NYFW runway show, to the night's before suite party at Madison Square Garden, Knicks Vs OKC. (OKC won, but you knew that.) from Valentines Day Toxicity, to relationships being 50/50?. We discussed the origin of Mean Girls, and did the Tiko 10 Topics together. In moments like these, I don't care if you're black, white, hispanic, whatever, everyone goes through the things we spoke on. This was an awesome and easy episode, and afterwards to hear Alex, Jordyn. and Moe say I did a really good job hosting the podcast.. meant much more to me than they probably knew. In that moment, I was beyond grateful to be the person I am, work at the place I work, and love the life I live. I was grateful for new beginnings, new friendships, getting better, and what's happened in the past. Because it all led me up to this moment. To my moment. And that's the biggest blessing of all.
