Does This Look Like The Face Of Banker Being Charged With Fraud After He Listed $280K Spent On Strippers As A "Business Expense

Pierin Vincenz, 65, who went on trial on corruption and illegal trading charges with six others on Tuesday in Zurich, claims that strip clubs and the $4,500 in charges to repair a luxury hotel room—which he damaged during a tussle of an unknown nature with a stripper—were part of the daily grind, as it were.

Vincenz, who worked for the elite lender Raiffeisen Switzerland, is accused of pocketing millions of dollars through illegal trading and fraudulent deals. The former banker also claims that $217,675 worth of corporate expenses paid to strip clubs were legitimately business-related and a $760 dinner he treated a woman he met on Tinder was actually a job interview. Another expense item, listed at $30,000, went instead to pay for a private jet and cooking classes in Mallorca, local media report.

To answer the question of the title...yeah, it does look EXACTLY how I'd picture a slimey banker spending almost $300K on strippers to look like.

I think this guy just needs to plead George Costanza on this one

I don't know much about the world of banking, but I imagine it would be a BAD look if the guy who spends all his time at the bank and has nothing but money DIDN'T make it rain at the strip club. Like, how are you supposed to impress prospective clients (it was a business expense) at the strip club if you're not making it rain? You're the guy who is supposed to have the money. Also, have you guys read the news? Inflation is a bitch. Doesn't matter if you're buying milk or milkers, that dollar just doesn't go as far as it used to. You can't make it rain in singles anymore, probably. Making it rain with 5s or 10s really adds up. Adds up to like $280K, but that is a learning experience.

And this whole thing about hiring/interviewing a real estate agent from tinder over a $760 dinner...you never know where or when you're going to find the right candidate. It's hard out there since covid. Nobody wants to work. There's the great resignation going on. If you stumble onto an ideal candidate you can't worry that you found her while trying to find someone to fuck. Do you know how much it costs to find the right employee? A lot more than $760. That's called efficiency.

Trashing a hotel room and flying the PJ to Mallorca for cooking lessons...you're on your own, man. Can't help you there. Who needs cooking lessons since tiktok was invented. I am sure he could find many potential applicants on tiktok or onlyfans while trying to fill the next hole or position in his organization.
