Ichiro Took The Mound Vs An All Female High School All Star Team And Carved Them Up

Ichiro saw all the talk about Shohei Ohtani doing it all and wanted to run it back. He was an unbelievable hitter and now he's takin the mound and absolutely DICING UP an all women All Star high school team. All of this footage is outstanding, it's jaw droppingly good. He looked like Kerry Wood striking out 20 batters, he wasn't there to mess around, he wanted to strike out every single batter. He almost did it too, apparently he struck out 17. Guy still has it. Was hitting 84 on the gun and some of these pitches had some run to them. Dare I say some big league squad takes notice and offers him a deal? Look how serious he's taking this, he isn't there for shits and giggles, he was there to win. 

You want to stand on Ichiro's plate? Hope you're wearing protection cuz he's coming high and tight on you. He has no fear when he's on that rubber. The swings these ladies were putting on Ichiro were hilarious, most of them had no chance. He's filthy. And the optics of this are absolutely hilarious. This is a future Hall Of Famer, one of the greatest hitters ever, and he is on a mound in Japan carving up a women's all star team. And this wasn't a relief appearance or anything, he took on this team and pitched a complete game, a nice 1-0 victory over the All Star team. 

He's buckling knees out there! Ichiro is a damn menace on the mound. He had them doing the running man after his pitches. Reminds me of Pedro in '99. What an amazing video and man do I feel bad for the ladies who had to step in the box and face this. The full highlights are below and I highly consider watching them. I need more Ichiro content, I need it all. And the best part about all of this is he is doing these events to help support women's baseball in Japan and help grow the game. What better way to get eyeballs on a game than have Ichiro pitching against some high school girls. What a legend.
