What a moment, what a call, absolute stones in a pressure-packed moment on the sports' biggest stage. And goddamnit is the PDC World Darts Championship one of the great events in all of sports.

For those not so familiar with darts or how this event is played, think of it like this. A 9-darter is the premier feat in all of darts. It's the bare minimum of darts needed to win a leg (which is like a game in a set of tennis) in a darts match. It requires extreme precision on all 9 darts, obviously. It's also a bit of a rarity. Before today, there were only 10 of these bad boys in the history of the PDC World Darts Championships, which is the Super Bowl of the sport. It had never even happened until 1990:

But the gravity and the moment here is what sticks out. These matches are best of 5 sets, with each set being best of 5 legs. This match went the distance. 5th set, 5th leg decider and William Borland threw a goddamn perfect game IN HIS DEBUT AT THE ALLY PALLY. Unfuckingbelievable.
