Surviving Barstool S4 Ep. 3 | Shocking Betrayal Rocks the TribesWATCH NOW

7 Of The Best Mystery Movies Currently On Streaming

#1. Burning - 96/100 - Prime Video: This is a really good Korean mystery movie that comes with a warning: It is a slow burn. About as slow of a burn as you can imagine. Those who don't dig that sort of thing will hate it, but those that do will LOVE it.

Jong-soo runs into Hae-mi, a girl who once lived in his neighborhood, and she asks him to watch her cat while she's out of town. When she returns, she introduces him to Ben, a man she met on the trip. Ben proceeds to tell Jong-soo about his hobby.

#2. Gone Girl - 95/100 - Hulu: Pike and Affleck are so damn good in this movie. Personally, I think it is the best in Fincher's catalogue and is a must watch for fans of suspense and mystery.

With his wife's disappearance having become the focus of an intense media circus, a man sees the spotlight turned on him when it's suspected that he may not be innocent.

#3. Chinatown - 94 - Showtime: An all time classic that will go down as a top-3 performance from Jack Nicholson in most people's book. Just don't look up the director.

Private eye Jake Gittes lives off of the murky moral climate of sunbaked, pre-World War II Southern California. Hired by a beautiful socialite to investigate her husband's extra-marital affair, Gittes is swept into a maelstrom of double dealings and deadly deceits, uncovering a web of personal and political scandals that come crashing together.

#4. Zodiac -  94 - Netflix: If this was a more extensive list, you would probably see every Fincher movie there is. I love Zodiac and think it does a great job of  dramatizing the real-life events. It also made me believe that John Carrol Lynch(The actor) is the actual Zodiac killer and not Ted Cruz's dad.

The true story of the investigation of the "Zodiac Killer", a serial killer who terrified the San Francisco Bay Area, taunting police with his ciphers and letters. The case becomes an obsession for three men as their lives and careers are built and destroyed by the endless trail of clues.

#5. Memories of Murder - 94/100 - Hulu: This is a fucked up story that is based on the real life story of Korea's first confirmed serial killer. There are a ton of twists and turns that I think you mystery fans out there will really like. This is from Bong Joon-ho, the director 'Parasite'.

1986 Gyunggi Province. The body of a young woman is found brutally raped and murdered. Two months later, a series of rapes and murders commences under similar circumstances. And in a country that had never known such crimes, the dark whispers about a serial murderer grow louder. A special task force is set up in the area, with two local detectives Park Doo-Man and Jo Young-Goo joined by a detective from Seoul who requested to be assigned to the case.

#6. Mother - 94/100 - Hulu: Like the last movie, this is also from Big Bong himself. This one is just as twisted, but has the mother playing the role of investigator after her intellectually disabled son is accused on a brutal crime. Well worth the watch.

A mother lives quietly with her son. One day, a girl is brutally killed, and the boy is charged with the murder. Now, it's his mother's mission to prove him innocent.

#7. Knives Out - 93/100 - Prime Video: I go to bat for this movie a lot because I really do think it rejuvenated the genre of whodunnits. It's fascinating, keeps you guessing and has an incredible ensemble cast.

When renowned crime novelist Harlan Thrombey is found dead at his estate just after his 85th birthday, the inquisitive and debonair Detective Benoit Blanc is mysteriously enlisted to investigate. From Harlan's dysfunctional family to his devoted staff, Blanc sifts through a web of red herrings and self-serving lies to uncover the truth behind Harlan's untimely death.
