And that, my friends, is why they close the door to the cockpit. Not for safety reasons or to thwart the threat of terrorism, but because if it's left open regular passengers will literally poop their pants. Straight up dookie-pie their seats. Especially if the conditions are anything other than ideal. I mean those guys literally could not see a thing. Look at this nightmare...

Yet it was arguably the smoothest landing I've ever seen. The only thing scary about it was the countdown until they touched down. "500, 400, 300, 200, 100, 10….ALARM ALARM ALARM!!!"  Then the rundown appears out of nowhere…

It's videos like these that make me realize how important it is to have an old guy in cockpit. Someone with some gray hair. Glenny, Marty, and I were at UF for a High Noon event a couple weeks back and right before we were boarding the plane to leave the pilot came up and introduced himself. He was no older than thirty. I got a pit in my stomach the second I shook his hand. I mean how much experience could this guy possibly have? How many precarious situations has he been in? How many critical decisions has he had to make? Everything turned out fine, obviously, but it makes realize how important it is to have a pilot who's been there. That's it for this one.
